Throughout the year, more than 1,700 attendees gathered at seven SMPS regional conferences. Our participants were hosted in the great cities of Tucson, AZ, Sacramento, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, Orlando, FL, Wichita, KS, Milwaukee, WI, and Lake George, NY.

If you haven’t attended a regional conference before, they’re led by volunteers representing almost every chapter while keeping the SMPS mission in mind: to advocate for, educate, and connect leaders in the building industry. The conferences provide an elevated professional experience in an intimate environment and organized to support geographical networks and culture.

These experiences and opportunities happen because of the hard work and dedication of our regional conference planning committees. On behalf of HQ and the board of directors, thank you to them and to the sponsors, speakers, and attendees. And a special thank you to the planning committee chairs who led the organizational efforts. In many cases, they served for multiple years due to delays related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Heartland Regional Conference (HRC)

Justin Juley, CPSM
SMPS Wisconsin

Patti Keillor Rohde, CPSM
SMPS Wisconsin

Missouri Valley Regional Conference (MVRC)

Lindsay Young, MBA, CPSM
SMPS Wichita

Northeast Regional Conference (NERC)

Sharyn Yorio, FSMPS, CPSM
SMPS New York

Kate Petrovich, CPSM
SMPS Philadelphia

Dayna Abbott Berryman
SMPS Philadelphia

Pacific Regional Conference (PRC)

Lesley Cocores
SMPS Sacramento

Tracy Jenkins, MBA, CPSM
SMPS Sacramento

Southeastern Regional Conference (SERC)

Rachael Frohardt
SMPS Central Florida

Stephanie Jude
SMPS Research Triangle

Southern Regional Conference (SRC)

Guy Choate
SMPS Southeast Louisiana

Shonnah Driver
SMPS Fort Worth

Southwest Regional Conference (SWRC)

Katy Konik
SMPS Arizona

Rebecca Lavezzary
SMPS Colorado

Megan Mickey, CPSM
SMPS New Mexico

Thank you for your continued support of SMPS, our members, and the A/E/C industries,

Mike

Michael V.
