SMPS is pleased to announce the recipients<\/a> of its 2022 Marketing Communications Awards (MCA)<\/strong> program. In its 45th year, this annual competition is the longest-standing, most prestigious awards program recognizing excellence in marketing and communications by professional services firms in the design and building industries. The MCA finalists, including Best of Show and People\u2019s Choice, were recognized during the Daytime M Awards luncheon as part of Amplify A\/E\/C<\/a> conference in Atlanta on July 19, 2022.<\/p>\n

\n

The Best of Show Award<\/strong> features the winning entries from each category going head-to-head to be named Best of Show voted on by a jury of industry experts. This year\u2019s award went to Emery Sapp & Sons from Kansas City, MO for special event mixed media entry called \u201cThe Emery Sapp & Sons Annual Meeting Virtual Experience\u201d.<\/p>\n

The People\u2019s Choice Award<\/strong>, voted on by conference attendees and the virtual SMPS community alike, was awarded to Horrocks Engineers from pleasant grove for Social media-basic category entitled, \u201cEngineers Week 2021 at Horrocks Engineers.”<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was great to have everyone in person to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the MCA program. We had another amazing year, with stiff competition among firms. Because of the continued hard work and steadfast dedication of these marketing professionals, we\u2019re able to highlight and recognize these innovative firms and their marketing teams,\u201d commented Molly Dall\u2019Erta, director of member recognition and programs for SMPS.<\/p>\n
