That could mean giving to your children, friends, parents, coworkers\u2014heck, even yourself. The way I see it, the best kind of giving comes from the heart as an indication of your feelings, emotions, and priorities.<\/p>\n<p>This holiday season, we hope that one of your priorities is the <a href=\"https:\/\/smps.org\/about-the-foundation\/\">SMPS Foundation<\/a>. Past donations to the Foundation have <a href=\"https:\/\/smps.org\/donate\/\">helped support<\/a> many, including individuals and chapter members:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Foundation has provided leading-edge and valuable research and innovation to our industries for 30 years. I have made a multi-year pledge to support the Foundation\u2019s research and the recently established Zinsmeyer Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).\u201d \u2013<em>Joy Woo, FSMPS, CPSM, LEED AP<\/em>, <em>Director, Urban Land Institute San Francisco<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI give to the SMPS Foundation because the Society has given so much to me.
