Here are a few highlights from the meeting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Strategic Planning Underway:<\/strong>\u00a0The SMPS board officially kicked off the 2026\u20132029 strategic planning process, aligning around aspiration statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and high-level strategies to elevate member value and engagement.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advancing Amplify A|E|C:<\/strong>\u00a0Planning is in full swing for <a href=\"https:\/\/amplifyaec.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amplify A|E|C 2025<\/a> in Columbus, OH. The board reviewed program plans, the vision for an immersive Higher Learning Experience for attendees and voted on the Amplify A|E|C 2026 slate of volunteers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technology and Member Experience:<\/strong>\u00a0An update on the technology rollout highlighted progress in enhancing our member database and digital infrastructure\u2014laying the foundation for a more seamless user experience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Foundation Momentum:<\/strong>\u00a0The <a href=\"https:\/\/smps.org\/about-the-foundation\/\">SMPS Foundation<\/a> shared updates on research initiatives, new scholarship program opportunity through the <a href=\"https:\/\/smps.org\/2025\/03\/24\/smps-and-ace-mentor-program-partner-to-promote-workforce-development-in-the-a-e-c-industry\/\">ACE Mentor Program<\/a>, and upcoming thought leadership publications supporting the A\/E\/C industry\u2019s future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>If you have any questions regarding these matters or the Society\u2019s board meetings, please contact Marci D.
